What makes Arc’s commissioning stand out?
Our commissioning process ensures every system monitored is more than just fit for purpose. Our team of senior operators give real, lived advice to engineers to ensure both parties get the best out of the system during the Walk Test and beyond. We will advise on detection, image and lighting quality; with a foreground and background check on each detection alarm. We will also confirm the object or area being detected on each camera ensuring there is good visibility. Arc act your extra pair of eyes on the system, ensuring there are no blind spots.
Once the walk test is complete, you will receive a copy of the results including two still images, of each detection alarm, along with all the comments from the test. A lighting report will soon follow, showing each camera image, including any presets, at night as well as during the day.
We recommend attending site, at least once a year for an annual maintenance visit. Once there, call our team to let us know you wish to test the system. You will receive the same high specification walk test and we will re-evaluate each alarm input with your engineer, free of charge.

We have created a bespoke software system which ensures Arc only collects and records relevant information about its customers and monitored sites. We ask for this information in our Connection Order Forms, our customer services team ensure each site is setup as per those forms before any testing is carried out.
We understand that each site is unique which means that each possible alarm condition warrants its own response plan. At Arc we customise response plans at a global, customer and ultimately site level. Each listed keyholder can be responsible for different alarm conditions and can have their own availability schedule.
For those sites at higher risk, we can apply scripted process for operators to follow upon each alarm trigger, such as viewing other cameras, accessing relays or giving a blind audio announcement.
