Who you are
Because we provide security services to installers, maintenance companies and “end users” we may collect data from all or some of the above. For the purposes of clarification an “end user” is the receiver of the security service or services we provide, i.e. the premises where the security system is installed.
What information we collect in order to enable us to offer and provide security services
We need to collect certain personal data from installers, maintenance companies, organisations or end users which may include your name, your contact details and email address. We may also collect certain other personal information about you, as described further in this privacy policy. We collect your personal information in a number of different ways, by post, fax, email, or from our website

To ensure we provide you with the best possible security monitoring service. It helps us to identify you and to inform you about sites we monitor for you, whether you are an installer, maintenance company, or end user. It helps us ensure we keep the security services we provide at the highest level.
What we use it for
Contact you as part of the security services we provide. Ensure we are speaking to an authorised user of a site we monitor for you. Identify you and manage your account. Process new information from you. Liaise with your installer or maintenance company, our Suppliers and Partners Administer our contract with you as your employer. Improve our services. Promote our business and market our services. Manage our business, including for accounting and auditing purposes. Maintain our IT systems and manage hosting of our data. Deal with legal issues involving you, us, and our partners. Prevent fraud; crime and criminal acts. Comply with our regulatory and legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We will not share your personal information with any third party, unless it is for the purposes of providing the security services we have previously agreed with you. Gaining access to data we hold. You have the right to request access to the personal data we have on record about you. Subject access requests will be handled and processed within regulatory timescales.
How long we will keep your data
We will only retain your personal information and data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected for, as required by our industry standards, British Standards and our legal obligations. CCTV and Alarm Data We collect CCTV and alarm data in the process of providing security services for you or your customer. We retain data and images we have collected for the minimum period of time as required by our regulatory body, external authorities and our legal requirements. We ensure we keep all date secure, with limited access to authorised individuals only. We only retain images and data long enough to allow for any incident to come to light, and to investigate it. We have established processes and procedures where a request for information regarding data and CCTV images is made. We will retain data and images only for as long as the duration of the contract, and will ensure removal and confidential deletion as appropriate following its expiry.
Breach notification
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. Should a breach of data be identified, the company will report the breach to the relevant persons or company, and inform them of actions taken to resolve the breach.
